In his autobiography, Abram SPIWAK (of Orgeyev, Bessarabia) says
that following the chaos after the 1905 Odessa pogrom, he
"found work on the Villa Ashkenazi on the Black Sea" in early
winter, 1906. Can anyone help me identify where and what
this place was? Or suggest where I can search for this
information? None of my searches have turned up any clues.

Abram was trained in floriculture and agriculture and had
been placed in a job with a large nursery in Odessa by the
Baron de Hirsch Agricutlural School in Orgeyev before he had
to look for work elsewhere.

Thank you,
