Romania SIG #Romania Seeking Frieda-Riva (surname unknown...) #romania

Melody Amsel-Arieli <nomietai@...>

When his mother--Sussa Lea Polak Zazulia-- died in 1893, my
grandfather Hersch (Harry Sally) was four years old. Evidently, his
father, Gavriel, did not re-marry (she had been his third wife).

Instead, according to family lore, a neighboring woman named
Frieda-Riva (last name unknown) then raised him.

Since my Hebrew name is Frieda-Riva, I am seeking details about her
life. I believe that she lived in Novoselitsa-- though it might
have been Klishkivitz.
I am hoping against hope that one of you has "met" her somewhere along the way.
She likely lived between 1850 and 1920.

I appreciate all comments, insights, discoveries....
