In the Czernowitz City Directory of 1936 (many thanks to Edgar Hauster and Martina Lelgemann for the data) there are two listings pertaining to persons whom I believe are an ancestor and a relative -
VERETENA Mehel - Brutar (Baker), located at Calea Plevnei 44 (I believe him to be my maternal grandfather)
POLAC Lazar - Croitor (Tailor), located at Calea Costache Negruzzi 13c ( I believe him to be my late mother's first husband).
I would be immensely grateful for any information regarding these two persons and their families.
