Barbara Hershey <barbara.hershey@...>

Rom-Sig is excited to announce an initiative through which you can receive
copies of photographed birth, marriage and death records >from Iasi that have
been indexed and placed on the JewishGen.org website.

We are requesting that in order to receive copies, you make a new donation to
a Romanian project of JewishGen for a minimum donation of $15 per record. All
of these funds will be used to help obtain additional records and
transcriptions of those records.
If you are interested in receiving copies of records, send the following
locator information to: Barbara Hershey at bhershey@...

1. Type of record (birth, marriage, death)
2. Date of record
3. Surname(s) on the record
4. Book and item number (this is the right column on JewishGen search
results,
e.g. Book 1882-4, page 94) or image number.

We will then confirm whether we have located a copy of the requested record.
At that point, we will ask you to submit your donation to a Romanian regional
project on JewishGen JewishGen-erosity Romania Projects. We will send you the
digital image when you provide us with your confirmation number or a forwarded
copy of your donation receipt.
While you're of course free to donate at any time, we would recommend that you
wait until we confirm for you that we have located the requested records.

**Please note we will not do open-ended searching for you. This benefit will
be only for records that have already been placed on JewishGen's website. It
does not include the burial information for which we don’t have photographs.**
