I'm curious to find out if anyone else has had this experience -
it's very confusing!
I've been going through the Tarnow School list and have discovered
the same persons, with the same birth date and the same father, with
12 different surnames! Now I'm used to having to look at 2 or 3
surnames, depending on whether the child has the mother's, father's
or grandparents' surnames, but 12? Fourteen if you count the two
original ones. I may not have them all, either, as there are a lot
of fathers with the appropriate first name without a surname.
Did the father give false names or something? Or did he use a
different family surname (>from parents, grandparents, great
grandparents etc) for each year?
I've looked up the alternate surnames to see if I can get any
further in my research, but haven't had any luck. Any ideas or
Names as follows: Father of all is Markus Munz.

TANNENBAUM Hena 29-Jun-1892
VORSCHIRM Hena 29-Jun-1892
WEISS Hena 29-Jun-1892
After rechecking the Excel file, I find that this isn't the only
example of many different surnames being used. Does anyone know if
there's a particular reason for this?
