Both sets of my grandparents immigrated to SA in the 1920s and 1930s.
One set came >from England and were British citizens. The other set
came >from Palestine, at that time a British protectorate under a
League of Nations mandate.
Accordingly, as South Africa was still a British colony in those days,
I believe, would there have been any need for them to have gone
through a naturalization process?
Thanks in advance for all responses.
