Perhaps this is an americanized version of the bibilical Hebrew name
"Rivkah," one of the four Matriarchs in Judaism, the wife of Isaac
("Yitzchak"), one of the three Patriarchs. It is also a popular name in
Yiddish as well as Hebrew.

I unfortunately only have on name in this family line - Rebecca
BOGOMOLNY. Rebecca never left the Ukraine, except to visit her sons in
the United States. They referred to her as Rebecca, but would this be
an Americanized version of her name?
