My grandfather Shaya CHALEZKY >from Nikopol, had two brothers who my aunt

said had gone to Brazil. However, in the Argentine telephone book, for
Buenos Aries, I found the name Jalezky, which I think is pronounced the
same. I wrote to the family and although there were given names similar to
my aunts' given names, we could find no common connection.
Now that many South Americans are joining Jewishgen, maybe, someone there
knows or has the same name, and maybe they came >from Nikopol or the
surrounding area.
