Rose Feldman <rosef@...>
My father was born in Kalinovka Ukraine, where his mother's family was from,
though his father's family was >from Litin. While interviewing his cousin on
his mother's side about 10 years ago, he told me the stories related to him
by his brothers how they were evacuated by train as the Nazis approached.
that would make early summer of 1941. They traveled for days, and I mean
days until they reached Tashkent. Some of the family stayed in Tashkent even
after WWII for a number of years.
