My recent note regarding "Everything is Illuminated" mentioned my interest
in ZELINSKY. This name drummed up a very intriguing link still being
investigated. If others of you are pursuing ZELINSKY and variants, mine are
as follows:

Bernard Zelinsky (my gggf) is an unknown. His son PINCUS (interpreted in the
Mass 1920 census as ELIAS or some such) was a shoemaker, b.1877-1940,
immigrated 2/15/1904 Southhampton to Ellis, and lived in Brockton, Mass
(Plymouth County), USA. Closest I can interpret the Imm papers on Pincus, he
identifies GORRIBIN (possibly GORUBIU) Russia as place of birth. He married
Rachel Dorn (I know a great deal about the DORN side) prior to 1903 and had
3 kids, Bernard (Barney, my gf) Yetta or Etta and May.
