The Ukraine SIG has basically filled all necessary positions with only a
few exceptions. Our primary need now is to appoint someone as our SIG
Research Coordindinator. I would welcome a volunteer at this time!

The research coordinator will be the primary SIG contact with the
Research VP on SIG-sponsored research projects.
The coordinator will identify project leaders for Yad Vashem and USHMM
projects and help recruit volunteers to work on those projects and
assist in monitoring progress. In this role, the coordinator will work
with Rachel Reisman, Holocaust DB technical coordinator.
The coordinator will work with the Research VP on securing permission
for research projects identified by its members and acquiring donor
agreements and volunteer agreements.

The openings for Kharkov Coordinator & Taurida (Crimea) Coordinator are
still available & require someone to lead research groups for these
gubernias.
