I'd like to verify if in the early/mid 1800s, when the Russian's controlled
Poland, if the Russian Government rounded up professors', and possibly other
professions etc., >from Poland and required them to move to Russia?

I have a relative who was a Professor at a University in Poland, in the
early/mid 1800s, who supposedly was required to move to Russia, along with
all other professionals, because he was a professor.
