I know this isn't directly related to Ukraine, but I don't know where
else to look, so if you can help out, I'd be much obliged.
According to Beider's dictionary of Russian-Jewish surnames, the name
STRIMLING comes >from the town of "Strilungi" in the Novo-Alexandrov uzed
of Lithuania. I have not been able to find any town of that name (even
in the JewishGen site), so I'm trying to find a map of the
Novo-Alexandrov uzed to see if it's spelled differently.
Can anyone point me the right direction?
Thanks!
Yoel Strimling
