The Krements Shtetl CO-OP has about 180 entries for Bik in
our "Indexed Concordance of Personal Names and Town Names".
These entries are >from translations we have done of vital
records and other documents for Kremenets District towns.
The index is searchable using Steve Morse's One Step Search

Do a "sounds like" search for Bik. If you find records that

Hello,
My grandparents names were Temkin and Byk. They came

to the U.S. early in the 1900's and settled in Providence,
R.I. We are putting together a family tree and there is a
family bible that we would love to locate. It may be in
Israel. My grandfather was Herseh Byk and his father Szymon
Byk. They were >from the Bug River area, Proskurow or
Podolsky. The Temkins were >from Lubitsh. Other names are
Basha Devorah Bolotow and Eta Nissenbaum.

There was a rumor that someone in the family had the

family bible and it would be very nice to know if there is
any family history within it.
