In my grandfather's (Yom Tov >Jacob Steinberg) naturalization papers, it states that he and my grandmother (Liba Gezelman) were born in Pagol or Pagol Village. I assume it is near Kyyiv as the family always said that's where they were from. I have not been able to locate a town called Pagol anywhere in the former Russian Empire. Has anyone heard of this town or do they have suggestions about how I might locate it?
