Researching SANDLER. Immigration papers indicate hometown as Zhitomir (Volhynia guberniya) with USA entry 1913. Would appreciate any suggestions as to what the name 'SANDLER' might have been before coming to USA as I am hitting a dead end using this name to trace my roots.
