Ukraine SIG #Ukraine ViewMate translation requests - Hebrew, Yiddish, Russian #ukraine

Diane Sophrin

Hello,

I have just posted three photos, two of which also have printed backs,
on ViewMate, and would be very grateful for loose or direct translations:

A family tombstone (Hebrew):

In addition to a translation, if anyone can glean anything >from the
style, size, etc. of the tombstone, I’d be most interested.
I already just received one translation, but at this point, I don’t
know the location, nor who exactly the person was.
Any thoughts would be welcome.

Two cabinet photos:

Unknown relative(s) (Hebrew and Russian):
On the back of this one, the small handwritten Hebrew words along the
upper left margin will hopefully identify at least one of these
gentlemen. The name and location of the phtographer’s studio could be
very informative too!

Sarah SCHLIMOWITZ SCHOPHRIN, Harry (later SOPHRIN) and his baby sister
Elsie (Russian):

Again, a translation of the printed matter on back,
relating to the photographer and the photography studio might expand my
knowledge of where my great grandmother and her children were, also
possibly when.

Thank you all in advance,
Sincerely,
Diane Sophrin
