My grandmother's family, the Shlyapochniks, lived in Khodorkov (near
Korostyshev) in the late 1800s and early 1900s. (Before that they lived in
Levkov in the same area).
I remember that my aunt, Annie Slavin, who lived in Chicago during WWII used
to go to meetings which I thought were of the Shlyapochnik family circle but
they might have been of a lantsmanschaft of Zhitomir or Korostyshev or any
other towns in the area.

If anyone has any information on any records for the Shlyapochnik family
circle or landtsmanschafts in the area (or knows where to find them) please
let me know.
