Dear researchers,

Here is an update for the month of September 2014 for Bessarabia SIG. See
the details at the "What's New" section of our site.

- A new section was added to the Bessarabia SIG Website: "Helping other
Bessarabia SIG members". By reading articles in this section you can help
another researcher, and also to learn something for your own research.
Every article in this section has questions to our group. We have now three
articles in the new section:

** Killian Family Photo >from Bendery, circa 1903, added by Ronald Kilian.
The questions are: get identity on several people in the photo resented, get
any historical information on style of clothing, and more;

I have posted two more of the articles in this section:
** Fanya Khaimovich with a women and child, 1930s. On the photo is my
grandmother with another women and a child, taken in Galatz, Romania or
Kaushany, Bessarabia, Romania. If anyone recognizes the women with a
child, please let me know.

** Unknown person. A photo of Unknown person (probably end of 19 c). I
also put into the article a photo of my great grandfather Khaim Khaimovich,
1912. It is very possible that the unknown person is Khaim Khaimovich.
Does anyone know a way to proof that these two photos are of the same
person?

- Research Projects / 33. Family Search (LDS). The list of microfilms was
updated, and also a list of 12 microfilms obtained recently at LDS was
added.
