Dear Israel,

Ukraine SIG has already submitted to the JG Ukraine Database the following records (is not clear to me if they are already online):

- Odessa birth indexes: 56,029 lines >from 1878-1889, 1891, 1894, 1896-1897, 1900

Additionally, the indexes of 1877 births have been translated and proofread.

On the Odessa Kehilalinks (http://kehilalinks.jewishgen.org/odessa) you'll find the All Odessa Database containing another 60,000 records (not yet submitted to the JG database).

There are many other records that need to be translated/indexed but we are missing volunteers with Russian knowledge.

We will welcome anyone wanting to help even if he/she can only translate a few records a week.
