Ukraine SIG #Ukraine Re: How to find records for female relatives #ukraine

Chuck Weinstein <cmw521@...>

One way to find out more about finding records for female ancestors, both
here in the US and Europe, will be to watch the Gala Banquet at next month's
IAJGS Conference on Jewish Genealogy in Seattle, August 7-12. If you are
unable to be there, you can still stream the talk >from "Legal Genealogist",
Judy Russell, JD, CG, CGL, via LIVE!, the real time streaming service of the
Conference. Judy's talk is "Don't Forget the Ladies", and deals with finding
19th century records of women.

In order to sign up for LIVE!, which will bring you about 60 presentations
from the Conference, including the Keynote Address by Dr. Devin Naar, head
of Sephardic Studies at the University of Washington and many others, go to
the Conference website (http://www.iajgs2016.org) and click LIVE! and
Recordings. All talks streaming on LIVE! will be available on demand for 90
days after the Conference. If you purchase LIVE! before July 24, you can
still get it at the bargain price of $129, if you are attending the
Conference. LIVE! for non-conference attendees is $179. If we can't see
you in Seattle, we hope you will enjoy and learn >from LIVE!
