Ukraine SIG #Ukraine Re: Identify birthplace "Werche Volimer Gov"? #ukraine

Vladimir

Igor,

David Brostoff spells "Verhov" and he also spells "Werche". But I
think that Werche may be another transliteration/spelling of the same
village.

As for the village "Verhov" in Russia Empire it belonged to Khorov
volost (area), Ostrog uyezd (district), Volin gubernia (region)

Other documents give only Russia."

I think "Werche Volimer Gov" should be Cherche village in the Volyn
(represented in the document as "Volimer") gubernia of the Russian
empire.
