This is an excerpt >from Zilbercweig's Lexicon of the Yiddish Theatre. The
women are Amalie MOGULESKO (Sigmund's wife) and their daughter Bessie. I
would appreciate a translation of these two entries. The link is:

Bessie was my mother's first cousin, but after many years I am still faced
with three widely differing birth dates for her, and no evidence of how or
when she emigrated >from her birthplace of Bucharest, Romania.

With help >from other Genners I have untangled several gross errors in the
1886 SS Alaska ship's manifest bringing most of Sigmund's Romanian Opera
Company to New York, but Bessie was not aboard.
