As the world marks International Holocaust Remembrance Day and the 75th Anniversary since Auschwitz was liberated, JewishGen remains steadfast in our commitment to ensure that our Jewish family history and heritage will never be forgotten.

• The JewishGen Yizkor Book Project: English translations of memorial books written by Holocaust Survivors to perpetuate the legacy and memory of Jewish communities destroyed during the Shoah. There are many recollections about Jews who survived Auschwitz in these books, including this moving story of Jews celebrating Passover in Auschwitz in 1943.

• The JewishGen Forgotten Camps Collection: includes information about many well-known and lesser-known Concentration and Death Camps, including Auschwitz.

• The JewishGen Family Finder:  Connect with people who are researching family members that actually lived in Oswiecim, Poland - which the Nazis renamed as Auschwitz.
