I find hashtags obnoxious and annoying.  Perhaps if they were used well - but too many people have not a clue how to do that.

To those in charge, it would be even better if the NEW and Advanced Mailing List would require all posters to use hashtags.
Also, members should be required to submit requests to create new hashtags, and not be permitted to create their own. There are too many spelling errors and duplicate / meaningless hashtags being created.
