I had an uncle who passed away at roughly 15 months old. He died in May 1918 in a hospital in Brooklyn where he had been for a little over a week. Cause of death listed as measles. This was right at the time the flu epidemic was starting, and Brooklyn was one of the first areas hit hard.I often wonder if they just misdiagnosed as they just beginning to realize, altho dont think measles n flu should be mistaken for each other, bit a doctor I am not. Anyone with thoughts here please comment.
