Polish Jewish Holocaust Survivors: Lübeck #poland #holocaust

At the end of WWII while Jewish survivors were gathered at various locations in Germany and Austria they often attempted to contact relatives/friends in other countries to facilitate emigration.  This unusual database identifies 155 Polish Jewish survivors located in Lübeck, Germany in 1948.   It is unusual in that it includes the names/addresses of the persons they were seeking to contact around the world.  For example, Szyja Kanarek, born January 6, 1910 in Dabrowa, is seeking to establish contact with S. Kanarek in New York (no further address).
While the list has been sent for posting to Jewishgen, JRI and IGRA, I do not know when they will appear on these sites.
