Family Tree of the Jewish People #general

Amy Federman

I am a historian who worked for many years for the Jewish Historical Society of Greater Washington and the National Park Service.  My husband and I have been working on both of our family's histories.  We have compiled a great deal of data and now are looking at ways to set up the data into a family tree format.  We had used Family Tree Maker when we did the previous work c. 2003-2004.
We understand now that program isn't available anymore and so are looking at some new vehicles.  We are also trying to connect to your incredible work as part of Family Tree of the Jewish People, where we may find connections beyond our great grandparents on my side who came from Europe.  My husband's family came through the Shoah with many losses, but we have been interested in finding connections predating that time as well.
Any suggestions would be incredibly helpful and also ways to outline our next steps.

Thank you in advance for your assistance,
