After much deliberation, I am re-writing my 2006 book, The Galitzianers:
The Jews of Galicia, 1772-1918. I would appreciate input >from anyone
familiar with the Krakow records in the FamilySearch database, in
particular, the census of 1870 and the military eligibility census of
1847-1850. Do they include Jews?

Of course, I'm happy to hear >from anyone who has suggestions or
corrections. I expect that the new edition should be ready in late 2014
or early 2015.
