In researching my husband's family, a cousin has written down place of birth
as Minsk, Krasnoyarsk, Russia (1836).
I can find Minsk as being the capital of Belarus but when I look for
Krasnoyarsk I find it is located in Siberia.
Can someone help me understand this?
