"Lengnau" apparently is the place of very early Jewish refuge in Switzerland.  I mistakenly assumed that a Frey family would not be Jewish.  Wikipedia lists it as an Ashkenazi surname.  But this Frey family line apparently became Protestant, in Alsace or Switzerland, sometime before migration with the "Pennsylvania Dutch".  There may be a significant number of people with some Jewish genetic background in that migration.  This line has "cousins" of my mother.  My paternal line DNA nearly matches still another family in that community.
