Further to the publication details of Vol. VI given last week there is now a very interesting and informative interview by Cherise of Chai FM , a Jewish talk show in South Africa. Cherise interviews Elona Steinfeld, the Research Coordinator of the Country Communities Project. Jews lived in over 1500 towns and small settlements in South Africa.. The methodology, resources sourced, checking and verifying processes are outlined. This same  methodology could be used in other countries.

To me it is surprising that there does not seem to have been a similar countrywide project in any other part of the world.
