What does "Hebr Jarg" mean when written on a passenger manifest? #general #yiddish #records

N. Summers

I have seen 2 passenger manifests this week which have the words "Hebr Jarg" written in the column for Mother Tongue. What does this mean? Is it a reference to Yiddish?
thank you
