The Galitzianer, Gesher Galicia's quarterly research journal, is
seeking information about first Jewish women doctors for the series:
"First in Galicia: Jewish Physicians," which is scheduled for
publication of its next installment in September 2016.

Specifically, we are looking for photographs and biographical details
for the following women physicians:

Maria Matylda KALMUS >from Maryampol, a graduate of Lwow University;

Matylda LATEINER-MAYERHOF >from Lwow, a graduate of Lwow University;

Fanny (Franciszka) FUCHS-REICH >from Lwow, a graduate of Lwow University;

Anna FRANKEL >from Buczacz, a graduate of Vienna University (practiced
in Stanislawow).

If you have information regarding these pioneering women, including
their fate during World War II, please contact us.
