Bertha STARR / Samuel STARASOLA (STARR) #galicia

Roy Star

Is anybody going to the Cemetery at Springfield Gardens, Queens County,
New York? I am trying to determine if Bertha STARR (c.1884 - 29 Jan 1970)
was the second wife of Samuel STAROSOLA (Starr) (1874 Tarnopol - 14
April 1940).

For some reason Samuel appears to be buried at Union Field, 532 South
Orange Ave., Newark. Beth Abraham. New section: Star of Jacob (Row 08,
No. 04L). His father's name was Chaim Wolf STARISSOLER. A relative is
buried nearby: Fryme Feige (Fannie) STARISSOLER (1883 Tarnopol - 25
Jan 1964) at Union Field (Row 03, No. 05L). Are there other members of
the family (maybe different spellings) in the vicinity?

To make things more complicated, Samuel's first wife Chawe Alte (Eva)
STARR (nee Chyglik) (1879 Zbaraz - around 1940s) (father: Mendel
CZIGLIK) has 3 different records showing 3 different cemeteries: Union
Field, Mount Zion and Newark Essex County, NJ, so maybe same named
people are mixed-up here! Any help with either cemetery photos or
paper-work to determine the truth of the matter would be appreciated.

The Bertha STAR with husband Isadore is not who I am looking for.

Many thanks

Researching : STARISSOLER (various spellings) - Tarnopol, Zbaraz,
London, New York. CZYGLIK (various spellings) - Galicia, New York.

MODERATOR NOTE: The Springfield Gardens cemetery to which
Roy has referred is Montefiore. Its online database
(http://www.montefiores.com) lists Bertha STAR, who died on 29 Jan
1970, age 82, and is buried on the grounds of Temple Israel of
Rockaway Beach (Block 95, Row 6L, Grave 2). Isidore STAR is buried
beside her (Grave 1). We suggest a call to the cemetery to clarify the
Stars' relationship before making a trip there.
