The Jewish Genealogy Society of Greater Washington (JGSGW) will celebrate

shall recognize our founders, and particularly honor the enormous
contributions to the development of organized Jewish genealogy made by
our own Sallyann Amdur Sack-Pikus, who chaired the first Jewish genealogy
conference in Washington just a year later and the first international Jewish
genealogy conference in Jerusalem three years after that - and didn't stop
there.
