Re: Naturalization record index cards #records

Hi,

Bob Silverstein asked:
How can I use the naturalization record card to find the naturalization
petition and related documents?

Depending on the county, he may be able to leverage the scanned
petitions on FamilySearch. An example of how to do this can be found for
some of the NYC courts, here:
http://www.jgsob.org/KingsNY-naturalizations.html

Bob's signature indicates he is from Illinois. The FamilySearch catalog
at
https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog
would be the place to start. As an example, there are 18 recordsets for
United States, Illinois - Naturalization and citizenship

Stay safe,
