The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum's Survivors and Victims Database
has a new collection:

Registration and Work Cards for Jews >from Lviv Ghetto (Lwow Ghetto)
(ID: 45681)

According to the USHMM website, this collection "contains alphabetically
ordered work cards of ghetto inhabitants in Lviv... who went to places of
work in the city each day. Data includes name, date of birth, ghetto
residence, occupation, and workplace address." These records -- almost
18,000 cards -- were left behind by the Germans as they retreated. They
have been held by the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Lviv.

The collection can be searched at
https://www.ushmm.org/online/hsv/source_view.php?SourceId=3D45681

If you locate a name of interest, you can submit a "Media Request" form
and you will quickly receive by email a digitized copy of the original
document.

Thank you to Peter Lande for sharing news of this collection on the
JewishGen Discussion Group -- and for all that he does to make available
records of the Shoah.
