Joseph,

There is no mystery about the "larger town". This town was Lubaczow,
the district's capital, where Narol was located.

Lubaczow records, with the notable exception of the births records
for the short period of 1857-1876, didn't survive.

There are 500 entries related to town Narol in the JRI-P database; the
majority of those entries are within Lwow Province for such larger
towns in Lubaczow's vicinity as Sokal, Rawa Ruska, Uhnow and Zolkiew.

In JRI-P database at

http://jri-poland.org/jriplweb.htm

Select "town" entry in the "data type" window.

Another location of Narol's names is 1929 Poland Business Directory at:

http://data.jewishgen.org/jri-pl/1929/loadtop.htm?0742 and
http://data.jewishgen.org/jri-pl/1929/loadtop.htm?0743

Hope this helps,
