Ancestry has the Manitoba death index for a female Finkelstein who died 8 April 1895.  Have you checked this record?  If this is not Perl, consider that she may have died in route to Winnipeg.  The ship's manifest says they were going to Chicago which was probably on their westward route to Winnipeg. Possibly she died before arrival in Winnipeg..
