In 1949, my aunt placed an ad in an Israeli newspaper searching for Moshe Koshchanviski or Koshtznevski (קושצנבסקי משה) from Washilisiki. He made Alayah in 1933. Between 1933 and 1949 he changed his name to Moshe Atzmoni.
How would I go about finding this advertisement from a 1949 Newspaper or other resources in Israel? The ad was placed by my aunt, Ceil (nee Tzipka Horowitz) Tobier from Lakewood, New Jersey, USA.
We did connect with Moshe and his family. Moshe worked for the IDF and one of his coworkers saw the ad about Washilisiki and showed Moshe the ad.
