Hello all:
 I have been researching the background of my paternal uncle, Daniel Sternberg, ( my father's oldest brother).  Through the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC and the Arolsen Archives in Germany, I found that he was interned at  Mittelbau, a subcamp of Auschwitz #2.  I have  recently learned that Daniel had a daughter, who is still living.  She was told that her father was a prisoner at Mauthausen in Austria.  I am wondering how I can determine whether this information was "family lore"  or if my Uncle Daniel did in fact spend time at Mauthausen  and if so, when and how long?  Thanks for your help.
