Legacy software has no equal when it comes to keeping track of all the different first/middle/last names our ancestors used and the way the transcribers read and wrote them. It has a very upfront and user friendly AKA section with unlimited capacity for each person, including the sources for each. You can choose to include this AKA field when you choose a report to create, because, after all, what’s the value in putting it in if you can’t print it out? I save my Legacy data in my Dropbox account, and I don’t use Legacy for photos, but for names-first, middle, last, Hebrew, Yiddish, diminutives, alternative spellings, immigration changes et’c, it’s wonderful.
Best of luck
