You may be able to find this at newspapers.com, which requires a subscription.  A friend who has a subscription found an article about my great-uncle who was killed in a NYC accident when he was, according to the death certificate crushed "between two cars," which we think were trollies or trains of some type.  She also found information on two family friends for me.  You may be able to access this site without a subscription through a library that has a subscription.
