If you go to the Jewish Gen Data Base and click on Jewish Given Names Database, you can then enter the name Ida and search to see the many name variations (in Belarus or elsewhere) listed as name origins in Hebrew, etc.  for what may have been Ida's name in Europe.  Good luck.
