In response to Sana Loue's question about obtaining records from three
towns, I will start by emphasizing that:

All online JRI-Poland data is free.   No "subscriptions" are necessary.

For information about specific online or offline records for a town, contact
the volunteer town leader noted on the JRI-Poland website. Town leaders
are available to help you whatever your town of interest and get great
satisfaction from doing so.  Reach out by:

     * Using the web form on the Town Explorer pages of our website:
           https://jri-poland.org/town/index.htm

     * Writing to:  [townname]@jri-poland.org

I would like to take this opportunity to share part of the message that appeared
in the April edition of the JRI-Poland "For the Record" Newsletter.  It said...

"Keep in mind we are often inundated with requests! Some of us receive as many
as 25 or more genealogy-related inquiries each week. And we all try to be helpful
with advice about research steps. Circumstances permitting, our volunteers will go
into detail with instructions about search results, and under some conditions, even
send an image of an actual document as a favor.

Each email we receive can take 15 minutes to an hour (or even two hours!) to fully
answer and most require a follow-up email asking the requestor for clarification before
the original question(s) can be answered. Time lag between emails, other requests
waiting for responses, and daily life adds more time to “refresh one’s memory” about
a case to construct a complete or correct answer.

All this underlines the importance of sending your email request to the right person to
obtain the best answer in the shortest amount of time. Please download this handy

Jewish Records Indexing - Poland is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization
with its own administration, volunteers and fundraising.  As a way to extend our reach,
researchers are able to search the JRI-Poland.org database with more than six million
records through JewishGen. Go directly to JRI-Poland with this link: https://jri-poland.org

8a. How Do I Access JRI Poland #poland #records

I am confused by how the new JRI-Poland record access works.

I wonder if someone can explain because I have three different records I am interested
for the same family in three different towns.  Do I have to subscribe to all three towns in
order to get the information?

Please post to the group and send a copy to my individual email.

Thanks,
Sana Loue
