On November 7, 2021, from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM (CDT) the Minnesota Jewish Genealogical Society will host Deborah Long, presenting:

Out of the Whirlwind: Finding Your Family Lost in the Holocaust

There are numerous resources available to trace the Holocaust history of our families, identifying those who did not survive the Holocaust and those who did. This session is a comprehensive look at the many resources that can assist you in your search. As the daughter of two Holocaust survivors, Deborah Long reviews the best (as well as some of the obscure) resources and methods for determining the fate of those involved in the Holocaust, including survivors and victims. Using examples from her own research, Deborah will demonstrate the documents and artifacts she discovered to reconstruct her family tree and even find living survivors and their descendants.
