western Yiddish and German shorthand help #austria-czech

A cousin of mine, a retired language professor, is looking for help
deciphering some old family letters. She grew up near Horsovky Tyn.
Specifically, she's looking for help with two things.

First, some letters are in pre-war German shorthand, which she can't read.

Second, some letters contain Yiddish, specifically the western dialect
of Yiddish, of which only a few words were still in use in the family
when she was growing up.

If you have skills with either problem and are willing to help, let me
know and I'll put you in touch.
