I would like to recommend Vladimir Kreshchyshyn from Kherson ( vovabobarunner@... ) for Ukraine Research.  He is excellent---meticulous, thorough, very fair in his charges, easy to communicate with.  If you email him with who/what/where about your research interests, he can give you an idea of how to proceed and what the charges will be. (He prefers payment via Western Union which I'd never done before but turns out to be a breeze.)   I tried out using him when I saw his offer to do research on this list serve many months ago.  Vladimir searched scores of files for me---I'd identified some of possible interest via the Alex Krakovsky site and then Vladimir found others I'd not been aware of.  In the end, I learned a lot both in terms of finding relevant family records and in some cases, discovering my family was NOT in places I'd thought they'd be, which narrows down my future searching.  Vladimir did not ask me to post this, but I was so satisfied with his work that when I saw the topic of this post, I just had to put in a plug for him!
