The Gesher Galicia Galicia Town Locator -- a comprehensive listing of localities in Galicia -- includes no place that starts with the letters Ocst or similar. I wonder if what looks like a C in might actually be an E. In that case, the abbreviation may be "Oest." for Oestrreich (Austria). Renee
